GALA BANQUET IN THE WINTER PALACE Friday, 30 June 2017

The Banquet this year will highlight two main exhibitions of the year:
- “Nefertari and the Valley of the Queens” with ancient Egyptian treasures from the Collection of Museo Egizio, Turin
and
- “Anselm Kiefer to Velimir Khlebnikov” featuring one of the most famous artists of today

The banquet will start with a champagne reception in the Pergamon Hall, continue with a concert by opera and ballet stars in the beautiful Hermitage galleries. This will be followed by a sumptuous dinner in the Jordan Gallery and the traditional ball in the Fieldmarshals' Hall. The evening will finish with a cocktail in the great Courtyard of the Winter Palace in the magical light of the White Nights. Among the special guests of the Gala Banquet will be star artists, members of the international cultural, business and political elite.

DONATIONS

This year, the Gala will benefit the recently created Hermitage Endowment Fund.
We are asking for donations at the following levels:

Guest – 80 000 rubels per person
Benefactor – 150 000 rubles per person
Benefactors’ names will be published in the Programme of the evening, and they will receive priority seating at the dinner.
