Tsyguleva Marina Viktorovna
Born 15 January 1963 in Primorsky Region.
In 1985, she graduated from the Psychology Faculty of the Zhdanov Leningrad State University with a major in psychology.
From 1985 to 1994, she worked as a psychologist and consultant.
In 1990, she graduated from the Institute for International Training in Psychotherapy - Samway Foundation Ltd., Boston, USA.
In 1999, she graduated from the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg State University with first class honours in law.
From 1998 she was a senior legal consultant for the Legal Department of the State Hermitage Museum.
From 2006, she has been the head of the Legal Department at the State Hermitage Museum.
During her work at the museum she has provided legal advice for such projects as the Hermitage - Guggenheim (Las Vegas, USA), Hermitage - Amsterdam (Netherlands), Hermitage Rooms at Somerset House (London).
She has participated in working groups attached to committees of the Federal Assembly and State Duma for legislation on cultural areas.
The area of her professional interests include intellectual property, in particular intellectual property of museums.
She has been twice awarded grants from the Potanin Charity Fund for her contribution to the development of the State Hermitage Museum: in 2005 for establishing the framework for a new legal system for the State Hermitage Museums work and in 2007 for organising an effective legal service during a period with increased risks to reputations.
